About this file
This document is an Addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Legal Affairs, Office of the Attorney General (Department) for a Price Gouging Mobile Application Solution. The RFP solicits proposals for the creation of a mobile application to allow consumers to report potential price gouging incidents during declared states of emergency. The application must meet specified technical and functional requirements, including integration with the Department's existing web service environment. The go-live date for the new application is no later than May 1, 2023, as the current contract expires on May 31, 2023 with no remaining renewals.
The Addendum provides responses to 62 questions submitted by prospective vendors, covering topics such as hosting, data exchange requirements, support needs, incumbent information, and budget. While no specific budget is identified, the Addendum notes that the current vendor has been paid $70,245 since the inception of the contract. The Department indicates a preference for cloud-based or on-premises hosting, and that project management responsibilities will be performed by the selected contractor.
