About this file

The document is a comprehensive technical specification file for the Fontana Unified School District's ADA Path of Travel Upgrades project, focusing on improvements at thirteen (13) preschool playgrounds. The project involves creating accessible paths of travel, with detailed specifications covering various technical aspects including site clearing, excavation, concrete work, base course preparation, synthetic turf installation, and pavement repairs. The specifications provide extensive technical requirements for contractors, including materials specifications, installation procedures, quality control measures, testing protocols, and warranty requirements.

The project appears to be funded through public school infrastructure funding, with a focus on accessibility improvements. The technical specifications indicate rigorous standards for materials, installation, and performance, with detailed requirements for testing, documentation, and warranty. Contractors will need to provide comprehensive documentation, including material certifications, test results, and installation plans. The project requires specialized expertise in site preparation, concrete work, synthetic surfacing, and ADA compliance, with specific requirements for materials sourcing, quality control, and final acceptance. The specifications suggest a comprehensive approach to creating safe, durable, and accessible playground environments for preschool students.
