SPECIFICATIONS FOR LAWN CARE SERVICES

EFFECTIVE July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2027 A. Locations:

Dillon Falls Licking River Access Off of Licking Lane and Dillon Falls Rd near SR 146 North of Zanesville, Ohio

B. Dates of Service:

Vendor shall furnish all necessary personnel, supplies and equipment to provide mowing and litter/debris pickup services on the following periods/days below.

1. Grounds Maintenance (Mowing and Trimming):

April – September: Trim and mow the area (see picture below) three (3) times per month not to exceed 18 visits during this time period.

Oct. 1 – Nov. 15: Trim and mow the area (see picture below), not to exceed four (4) visits during the time period.

2. Litter and Debris Pickup:

April – November: Remove litter and debris from the areas prior to mowing and trimming, not to exceed 22 visits during the time period.

Call Salt Fork Fish Unit (740)489-5240, if large amounts of litter or debris (tires, fallen trees, etc.) are present.

C. Working Hours:

Services shall be performed Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

D. Scope of Work:

The intent of these specifications is to provide mowing services and litter/debris pick-up, furnishing adequate supervision and labor to accomplish all required mowing services.

All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications and schedules set forth herein. There shall be no exceptions of deviations to any part, or from approved schedule without prior written approval of the area representative. Contractor shall be deemed to have knowledge of the nature of the work and areas to be mowed. Contractor shall assume responsibility for services provided, including liability insurance and, if applicable, workers compensation.

E. Services to be provided:

1. Grounds Maintenance: Mow all lawn areas, trim around buildings, signs, posts, trees and parking lots.

2. Litter/Debris Pickup: Remove litter and debris from the area.

F. Dress code:

Employees of the vendor must wear suitable clothing to perform services.

G. Basis of payment:

Payment shall be made at quoted price, per occurrence.

H. Inspection:

Area personnel may inspect the performance of work after each occurrence.

I. Equipment:

All equipment used to perform work outlined in these specifications shall be of acceptable quality to complete all tasks requested.

J. Chemicals:

No chemicals are to be used on grounds.

K. Other procedures:

1. After all mowing/trimming/litter pickup operations have been completed; the premises shall be left in an orderly condition at the end of each occurrence.

2. At no time shall the vendor of record bring any items to or on ODNR properties for disposal. Vendor is responsible for disposal of trash.

*Weather and growing conditions are a variable that can affect the frequency of these visits for the designated time period.
