Text version
The skids will be welded onto the tanks vertically to assist in transporting the tanks. Their dual purpose is to provide a flat surface for point of contact with the trailer so there is no “rolling” of the tank, and to provide “sled runners” for easy tail-rolling of the tanks on and off of the trailer. By having the loading “ears” located at the top of the skid, the winch line is attached to these points for holding the tank in place, and easy tail-rolling the tank off of the trailer in the correct, upright position.
