Firm Background
Our firm is committed to the Public Sector and serving State and Local Government clients. We bring 50 years of experience working with state government clients across 47 states. We have more than 12,000 practitioners who focus their careers in the Government and Public Services industry, including more than 2,000 practitioners who focus on Organizational Development, Change Management, Management Analysis, and Business Analysis.
We are the largest, privately held professional services firm in the world providing audit, advisory, tax, and consulting services with almost 107,000 people in 105 cities. For the fiscal year that ended June 1, 2019, our U.S. firm had revenue of U.S. $21.9 billion.
We have a proven track record of providing Business Consulting services to state governments and its respective agencies and departments, in states such as Pennsylvania, Oregon, California, Michigan, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. Our experienced team can scale quickly to meet the readiness needs of the State of Washington and can deliver the support you need as defined by future SOWs within this Master Services Agreement (MSA).
The State of Washington has seen first-hand our commitment to deliver its most important initiatives.
Over the past eight years, we partnered with 18 Washington government organizations to deliver services more effectively to Washingtonians by providing technology, Organizational Development, Change Management, Management and Business Analysis services. For example, we partnered with a Washington state agency to successfully implement the Healthplanfinder portal, which is nationally recognized as one of the most effective health insurance marketplaces. Similarly, we recently partnered with another agency to deliver one of the only integrated Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) programs in the country. Listed below are additional examples specific to the area of Business Consulting:
• Organizational Development - we supported the development of a new Washington agency that was created from the merging of three divisions from two separate agencies to form one single agency. Our services included Executive Coaching, Leadership Program Development and Facilitation, Team Development, Organizational Change Management, Planning and Support, and Strategic Planning.
• Change Management – we are currently providing Change Management services for one of the largest initiatives in the State of Washington spanning every State agency and department. We have also provided change management services supporting the successful go-live of several large technology projects.
• Management and Business Analysis – we conducted a time in motion study at a large Washington agency, and business process analysis and redesign at another agency, both to enable operational efficiency.
We are committed to serving federal, state, and local government clients. Our firm's 60,000 U.S. and 12,000 cross-functional professionals are aligned to our Government and Public Services (GPS) practice.
We understand what it takes to successfully support mission, policy, and technology innovations. In partnership, we look to the future with our government clients to improve operations through organizational development, change management, and management and business analysis initiatives
Exhibit C - 2 – Bidder Response Sheet/01620-Business Consulting Services 3 that enable government to better serve their constituents.
Further, as we depict in Figure 1, our firm is committed to the State of Washington and serving its agencies and departments.
Figure 1. Firm Footprint in State of Washington
We opened our office in Olympia in 2012 and internally classified Washington as a strategic account with a dedicated account leadership team whose members have served Washington State government for over eight years. These leaders, and our more than 300 staff serving Washington government, have become part of the fabric of the Olympia community. We are active corporate sponsors of the IPMA, and in the past two years have brought industry leaders to speak to the community on topics such as cloud, block chain, and Future of Work opportunities.
We also bring industry leaders to engage with agency leaders and staff on their most important opportunities and challenges. Recently, we brought insights related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the pandemic and virtual work environments, technology opportunities and implications, and workforce of the future to multiple agency leaders. Many of us are residents of Washington and our involvement in the Washington government community spans beyond our projects to enable Washington government to better serve Washingtonians.
We are also committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in Washington, and for seven consecutive years we have hosted a summit for the State’s women leaders, and upcoming women leaders, in Olympia to discuss topics that are important to the community – demonstrating the investments we are making in leadership development, mentoring, and DEI.
