About this file
This document is a delivery schedule detailing requirements for food service deliveries to the Federal Bureau of Prisons facility in Butner, North Carolina, specifically for Kosher products. The schedule specifies that all deliveries must occur between January 20-31, 2025, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, with no deliveries accepted after January 31, 2025.
The document outlines strict temperature and handling requirements: non-frozen perishables must be delivered between 34-40 degrees F, frozen foods at 0 degrees F or below, and all deliveries must be palletized unless otherwise arranged. All items must comply with BOP National Menu Specifications, and Certified Religious Diet Items must be marked accordingly. The document includes quality control measures, allowing for a three-day conditional receipt period for examination and testing. Failed deliveries or non-compliant items must be picked up within two weeks at vendor expense, and vendors who fail to meet delivery schedules may be removed from future solicitations. Poor performance will negatively impact the contractor's past performance record for future government awards.
