About this file

This document is a Delivery Schedule for a federal food service contract.

All items must be delivered according to one of four schedules between July 1 and September 30, 2026. Schedule 1 requires delivery between July 1-15, 2026 on a first-come, first-serve basis. Schedule 2 mandates biweekly deliveries (approximately 7 deliveries per quarter), Schedule 3 requires weekly deliveries (approximately 13 per quarter), and Schedule 4 requires twice-weekly deliveries (approximately 26 per quarter). Deliveries under Schedules 2-4 are to be coordinated between the vendor and Food Service Staff. All deliveries must occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with contact available at (256) 315-4219 or (256) 315-4184. All deliveries must be palletized, with non-frozen perishable foods maintained at 34-40 degrees Fahrenheit and frozen foods at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below. Any products showing evidence of prior thawing will be refused, and all Certified Religious Diet Items must be clearly marked. Items will undergo close inspection and may require thawing and cooking to verify specification compliance. Receipt may be conditional for three days to allow adequate examination. Nonconforming items must be picked up by the vendor at their expense within two weeks of noncompliance notification; items not retrieved within two weeks will be disposed of. Vendors failing to meet delivery schedules are subject to removal from future solicitations.
