About this file

This is a Delivery Schedule document outlining the logistics and requirements for food product deliveries under a federal food service contract.

All deliveries must occur between July 1 and September 30, 2026, with four scheduling options available. Schedule 1 requires delivery between July 1–15, 2026 on a first-come, first-served basis. Schedule 2 specifies biweekly deliveries for approximately 7 deliveries per quarter. Schedule 3 mandates weekly deliveries for an estimated 13 deliveries per quarter. Schedule 4 requires twice-weekly deliveries for approximately 26 deliveries per quarter. All deliveries to the Food Service Warehouse must occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., with contact available at (256) 315-4219 or (256) 315-4184. All products must be palletized upon delivery. Temperature control requirements specify that non-frozen perishable foods must arrive at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit, while frozen foods must be delivered at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below; any product showing evidence of prior thawing will be rejected. Certified Religious Diet Items must be clearly marked or will be refused. All items are subject to inspection and may require thawing and cooking to verify specification compliance. The receiving party may conditionally accept deliveries for up to three days for testing purposes. Non-conforming items must be picked up by the vendor at their expense within two weeks of notification; products not retrieved within this timeframe will be disposed of. Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedules are subject to removal from future solicitations.
