About this file

This is a Delivery Schedule document outlining requirements for food service product deliveries during the second quarter of 2026 (April 1 – June 30, 2026). All deliveries must occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 2:00 pm, and vendors should contact the Food Service Warehouse at (256) 315-4219 or (256) 315-4184 to coordinate timing. Four delivery schedules are specified: Schedule 1 requires all items delivered between April 1–15, 2026; Schedule 2 requires bi-weekly deliveries (approximately 7 total); Schedule 3 requires weekly deliveries (approximately 13 total); and Schedule 4 requires twice-weekly deliveries (approximately 26 total). Schedules 2, 3, and 4 delivery dates are to be determined collaboratively between the vendor and Food Service Staff.

All deliveries must be palletized and meet strict temperature requirements: non-frozen perishable foods must arrive at 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit, and frozen foods must arrive at 0 degrees Fahrenheit or below with no evidence of prior thawing. All Certified Religious Diet Items must be clearly marked. Items will undergo close inspection and may be conditionally received for up to three days of testing and thawing/cooking to verify specification compliance. Non-compliant items will be refused and must be picked up by the vendor at their expense within two weeks of notification; unpicked items will be disposed of after two weeks. Vendors who fail to meet delivery schedules are subject to removal from future solicitations.
