About this file
This document contains questions from industry and government responses regarding a Request for Information (RFI) for DCSA Industrial Security (IS) Senior Leadership Training. The RFI seeks information on sources capable of providing senior leadership training and a venue for that training. The desired outcomes include that the IS senior leaders (SES, GG15, and supervisory GG14) develop an integrated action plan for realizing the future success of the IS organization, the ability to assess DCSA's capacity for strategic execution, and identify key levers for achieving performance breakthroughs, barriers to change agility, and the role leaders play to enable transformation. The dates for the training are firm and align with the director's calendar availability. The government requires a fair and reasonable determination on all pricing and will use taxpayer dollars wisely when selecting the venue, which should be a professional training space that can comfortably accommodate the expected number of trainees.

DCSA Industrial Security (IS) Senior Leadership Training
Questions from Industry and Government Responses
7/22/2024
Date of Question Question Government Response
7/22/2024 Our company is interested in bidding on this project; however, the dates proposed are untenable. Are those dates firm?
Yes, the dates are firm and align with the director’s calendar availability.
7/22/2024 We see that you are targeting Senior Leadership for this training. Is the venue for this type of training typically a higher end property? For example, Intercontinental Hotel versus Holiday Inn or Hilton versus Hampton Inn?
There is no specific rule regarding the venue other than it be set up to provide a professional training experience.
The expectation would be for dedicated training rooms/spaces rather than an open area (such as folding chairs in a cafeteria). The space would need to comfortably accommodate the number of trainees expected for the event.
The Government does require a fair and reasonable determination on all pricing for contracts awarded and is responsible for using the taxpayer’s dollars wisely.
