About this file

This document is an amendment to the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) solicitation issued by the District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) for the FY-25 Local Pavement Restoration Citywide Project. The amendment extends the qualifications due date to November 20, 2023 and provides updates to the Scope of Work, including requirements for the Resident Engineer/Project Engineer and Office Engineer. The Consultant will provide construction management services to assess the work of the construction contractor for compliance with District rules and regulations, as well as maintain all contract records. The project is funded with District of Columbia funds and is part of the mayor's initiative to eliminate all poor-quality roads in the District by 2024.

The amendment also revises requirements for the Inspectors, who must hold an associate degree in engineering technology, Construction Management, or similar, with a minimum of 1 year of roadway construction experience, and be certified for asphalt, pavement marking installation, and have taken the OSHA-10 safety course. The contract will be awarded on an as-needed basis, with work assigned to the Consultant to provide services for critical repairs and general services.
