About this file
The document provided contains a question-and-answer session related to a state and local contract opportunity for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) to procure non-medical reusable/washable face masks. The resulting 3-year contract will have a not-to-exceed value of $101,700.00, with replacement inventory ordered on an as-needed basis. The bid is a small business set-aside open to all businesses, not limited to Illinois-certified small businesses. DCFS currently uses 3-ply disposable or non-medical KN95 masks, and the requested masks must be 3-layered to provide adequate filtration while allowing for comfortable breathing. Vendors may submit either royal blue or navy blue masks, with one color selected for the entire contract term. Samples will be requested from the three lowest bidders and additional vendors as needed. Pricing must include inside delivery to the two designated locations of Springfield and Chicago, with no separate invoicing allowed for shipping.
