About this file
This document is an amendment to the Request for Response (RFR) issued by the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) for Support and Stabilization (S&S) services. The RFR seeks providers to deliver a variety of S&S services tailored to the individual strengths and needs of children and families served by the Department, with the goal of achieving safety, permanency, and well-being for children. The amendments made include changes to the service model descriptions, staffing requirements, and evaluation criteria for providers. The updated procurement calendar extends the response due date to August 16, 2024 and adjusts the anticipated review, notification, negotiation, and contract execution timelines accordingly.
The RFR provides details on the specific service models, staffing requirements, and fidelity standards for Evidence-Based Brief Strategic Family Therapy services. The Department will compensate selected providers for the costs associated with obtaining and maintaining BSFT licensure through Department-approved organizations. Providers must remain in good standing and complete all training and fidelity requirements to receive this cost reimbursement from the Department.
