About this file
This is a Data Bid Set Request document for Air Force solicitation FA8203-26-Q-0005 (PR# FD2020-26-00497). The document outlines procedures for interested contractors to obtain the Engineering Data List (EDL) and supporting data package necessary to prepare bids for this procurement.
The data bid set is restricted to DoD and U.S. DoD Contractors only (Distribution Statement D) and is subject to export control restrictions. Contractors must follow specific procedures based on their eligibility status. U.S. DoD contractors must submit a current, valid DD Form 2345 ("Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement") for verification through the Joint Certification Program (JCP) to receive export-controlled technical information. Non-export controlled data requests require contractors to submit written requests to the solicitation issuing office that include: organization name, physical address, CAGE code, designated data custodian contact information (name, title, telephone, email), description of relevant business activity that matches intended use with the correct weapon system, and certification of the data custodian's U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency status with authorized signature. Upon approval, the solicitation issuing office will distribute the Data Bid Set via DoD Secure Access File Exchange (SAFE) or CD ROM. The EDL has been redacted to remove government points of contact; only the buyer from the issuing office serves as the primary point of contact for interested contractors once the solicitation is released.
