About this file
This document is a Quick Quote issued by Collier County's Facilities Management Division for the DAS Building 5 Insulation project located in Naples, Florida. The project aims to provide a rodent-resistant building envelope for Kennel Building 5 at the Domestic Animal Services Campus, with the primary work involving the installation of Huntsman Building Solutions HEATLOK HFO EZ Closed-Cell Spray Foam insulation in three 2-inch lifts on vertical walls and two 2-inch lifts on the ceiling. The solicitation includes three alternates: installing owner-provided stainless steel rodent-proof mesh, using rigid board insulation with an R-28 value, and applying an intumescent coating to meet building code requirements. The project was released on September 13, 2024, with a non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting scheduled for September 25, 2024, at 7610 Davis Blvd. Vendors must submit questions by September 27, 2024, and final responses by October 8, 2024, through the Collier County Procurement Services Online Bidding System.
The contract is structured as a one-time purchase with firm pricing, and the award will be made to the responsive vendor with the lowest quote. Vendors must provide comprehensive insurance coverage, including workers' compensation, employer's liability, commercial general liability, and automobile liability, with specific coverage limits outlined in the document. The pricing proposal includes line items for the building envelope, rodent barrier, rigid board insulation, and intumescent coating, with vendors required to complete a questionnaire covering insurance confirmation, E-Verify registration, Sunbiz verification, and W-9 submission. Additional requirements include ensuring subcontractors meet the same insurance standards and providing certificates of insurance that name Collier County as an additional insured.
