About this file
This document is a PowerPoint template for a Lightning Talk slide for the DARPA Generative Optogenetics (GO) Proposers Workshop. The template provides specific guidance for creating a single-page PDF slide that must be in landscape orientation, containing unclassified and non-proprietary information about a research team's proposal. Key requirements include detailing the Principal Investigator, team composition, existing partners, relevant experience, institutional assets, proposed approaches, technical challenges, unique metrics, and transition strategies.
The slide template is structured to help potential proposers concisely present their capabilities and teaming needs for the anticipated GO program. Specifically, presenters are instructed to highlight expertise relevant to Smart-RBC goals, describe their technical objectives without using jargon, and include contact information. The document emphasizes the importance of team collaboration and suggests including a team illustration if applicable. The associated federal contract opportunity is a Special Notice for a Proposers Workshop to be held on January 7, 2026, by DARPA's Biological Technologies Office, with advance registration required and limited lightning talk slots available.
