About this file

This document is the Darfur Contracting Act Compliance form issued by the State of California Governor's Office of Business & Economic Development (GO-Biz). It outlines the requirements for companies doing business with the state to certify that they are not scrutinized companies, as defined by Public Contract Code sections 10475-10481, which prohibits state agencies from contracting with companies that conduct specified business operations in Sudan. The form provides three options for companies to certify their compliance - either by confirming they have not had business operations outside the U.S. in the past three years, having received written permission from the Department of General Services to contract despite being a scrutinized company, or certifying they are not a scrutinized company. Companies must complete the certification portion with their company name, federal ID number, authorized signature, and executed location and date.

The document does not provide details on any specific contract opportunity, but rather establishes the compliance requirements for companies seeking to do business with the state of California. There is no information on product/service specifications, quantities, response dates, award criteria, contract terms, or pricing.
