AMENDMENT 0001 to RFQ # D-25-ST-0256 - Requirement Title: Brand Name Only -- Nikon Camera Kits and Accessories

The question period ended on July 23, 2025, and no further questions will be considered. The following questions and government’s response is provided, as follows:

Q1: Lens Specification: Could you please confirm which lens the government prefers for the 150-600mm Nikon F mount?

a. Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary, or

b. Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2?

Both lenses are viable options, but we want to ensure our pricing and sourcing match your exact requirements.

Government Response: Per the RFQ, the preference is Sigma for the 600mm lens.

Q2: Packing and Trash – Quantity Confirmation: Could you also confirm whether the quantities listed for packing and trash are accurate? Additionally, is this intended per item, per kit, or per shipment?

Government Response: The government expects the vender would place the separate units ordered into a Lowe Pro camera backpack after removing the boxes/packaging they are packaged. The user manuals for these units will be placed in the backpack as well. The only thing that will not fit into the backpack is the Benro camera tripod, which may be sent in its’ factory packaging/cardboard box. Once completed, there should be 50 backpacks containing the units ordered in each backpack, minus the tripods.

Q3: CLIN #3 - Can you confirm if you are looking for 50 units of the Tamron 150 – 600 f/5 – 6.3 Di VC USD G2 Lens for Nikon F (Mfr# AFA022N-700) or the Sigma 150- 600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon F (mfr# 745-306)?

The description that was provided on CLIN #3 says Sigma 150 – 600 f/5 – 6.3 Di VC USD G2 for Nikon F, but Sigma does not make that exact lens, only Tamron does.

Government Response: The requirement is revised to 50 units of Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens for Nikon F.

The closing date for submission of quotes will not be extended and remains August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET. All submissions shall be submitted electronically to Contracting Support Specialist Ramona.L.Hanson@dea.gov with the RFQ number D- 25-ST-0256 included in the subject line. No late submissions (questions and/or quotes) will be considered.
