1. Do we have the sizes of the items you want disposed of? ie…mixed organic solvents qty 3, but what size?

Answer: Approximately 120 l of liquid and 100 lbs of vials Containers are 4L bottles

2. Lab pack chemicals (toxic/oxidizer), qty 2 but what size? Etc…

Answer: 5 Gallon containers each

3. Can you provide estimated volumes/quantities for each type of waste to be disposed of? The "EA" quantities are provided but actual volumes would help ensure accurate pricing.

4. For the Field Chemist line item (3 EA), what are the specific responsibilities and required certifications? Is this for oversight only or handling/packaging?

Answer: Field Chemist must be hazwopper certified (we have qualified personnel)

5. What security clearance requirements and background check processes are required for personnel accessing the facility?

Answer: No Security clearance is required, but contractor must be background checked

6. Will the waste be pre-segregated by the facility, or will the contractor need to perform waste segregation?

Answer: We have everything segregated (we are required to collect and store waste in this manner)

7. What specifically is included in the "Materials" line item (3 EA)?

Answer: Materials are the drums and boxes used for overpacking

8. What are the facility's operating hours for waste collection, and are there any specific schedule requirements during the performance period?

Answer: The laboratory’s operating hours for waste pick-up are Monday through Friday; 8:00 am to 4:00 pm EST, excluding Federal holidays.

9. For Lab Pack Chemicals (P-Listed, Toxic/Oxidizer, Acids & Bases), can you provide a general list of the chemical types to ensure proper handling and disposal methods?

Answer: Our only P-Listed waste is formaldehyde

10. Is there a staging area provided for waste consolidation, and what are any specific facility safety protocols we need to be aware of?

Answer: We have an area for consolidation

11. What is the expected percentage for the E&I surcharge?

Answer: Surcharge is 17%

12. Is this brand new or is there a current incumbent performing these services? If not brand new, could you please provide the current/previous contract number?

Answer: We have worked with Aegis in the past, they have provided services for several years

13. Need more information on the sharps. Are they infectious, Bio hazard?

Answer: Sharps are non-infectious and non-biohazard

14. Where is the generator located?

Answer: Assuming this is where we are generating waste – 1440 McCormick Drive, Largo MD

15. Estimated volume?

Answer: Assuming total volume approximately 120l

16. Are these items already packaged or do we need to do the packing?

Answer: Items are containing in containers

17. What size are the containers if they are already packed?

Answer: Generally, 4L containers

18. Do you have the inventories for each container?

Answer: Yes, we keep track of what is disposed of in each container.
