About this file
This is a Project Scope document prepared by the City of Daytona Beach, Florida, IT Department for the installation of exterior camera infrastructure at Cypress Aquatic Park. The project requires the winning contractor to install six camera poles with associated electrical and fiber-optic connectivity systems. The scope of work includes pole installation with proper structural stability and 160 mph wind rating, mounting of camera systems and equipment enclosures at each location, installation of 120V power outlets with indicator LEDs inside each enclosure, and routing of fiber-optic cabling to all pole locations. Additionally, the contractor must install two underground conduits at each of the six poles—one for fiber-optic cabling and one for 120V power—with pull strings left in place for future cable installation. The project is considered complete upon full installation and operational status of all six poles, cameras, enclosures, fiber connectivity, electrical service, media converters, and cameras with proper licensing and verified streaming capabilities. The document references a related solicitation titled "2652ITB - Midtown Cypress Park Exterior Cameras" which indicates online bid submission through the City's procurement platform at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/codb, with a non-mandatory pre-bid conference to be held via Microsoft Teams.
The file does not contain specific pricing information, contract award dates, timeline deadlines, or funding source details. The document includes reference information for the City of Daytona Beach IT Department (phone: 386-671-7900) and notes a revision by Hossam Reziqa, CIO. The project summary includes an AutoCAD drawing with a notation of "Feb 2026" and a scale of 1" = 40', suggesting the project timeline or design date. Bidders are directed to participate through the City's online procurement platform to access complete specifications, ask questions, receive addenda, and submit offers, with participation recommended as soon as possible to remain informed of all announcements and revisions.

1.1 Pole Installation
Contractor will install six (6) poles in the designated field locations as identified by the customer. Work includes:
• Setting and securing each pole to proper depth and alignment
• Ensuring poles are level and structurally stable and posses proper wind rating 160mph
• Mounting camera systems and enclosures on each pole
1.2
At each pole, Contractor Will:
• Install one (1) camera at the top of the pole
• Mount the corresponding equipment enclosure
• Provide internal cable routing within the pole and enclosure
• Install a 120V outlet inside each enclosure to power the media converters and supporting devices with an indicator LED visible from the ground
1.3
Contractor will:
• Pull all provided fiber-optic cabling to each pole location
• Terminate fiber at each enclosure
• Install and configure media converters for network communication
• Ensure all devices talk back to the main network switch
1.4
Contractor will:
• Program and configure all cameras
• Apply and activate required licenses
• Verify successful network communication and camera functionality
• Perform testing to ensure proper video streaming and recording
2.
• Contractor will:
