About this file
This document is a prospectus for the Cutler Draw Timber Stand Improvement (TSI) project located in Campbell County, Wyoming. The project consists of thinning approximately 342 acres across four treatment units of ponderosa pine forest. The objective is to improve forest health, vigor, and reduce the risk of crown fire in the residual trees. The work includes mastication of slash in areas accessible to machinery and less than 50% slope, and lopping and scattering of slash in areas with steeper slopes. There is a mandatory site visit scheduled for November 22, 2024, and the contract will expire on April 30, 2026.
The prospectus specifies that bids are to be submitted on a per-acre basis, and the state reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The project manager may award additional acres at a later date if additional funding becomes available, and the vendor and project manager may negotiate a price adjustment of up to 10% for such additional acres. Payments will be made upon completion of each project unit. The successful bidder will be obligated to a written contract with the State of Wyoming covering the thinning operations.
