Supporting cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) line items provide engineering services at 1,200 hours per year for five years, with additional CPFF options for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) and manufacturing strategy development (CLIN 0004), Other Direct Costs (CLIN 0005), and a Data CLIN (CLIN 0006) marked as not separately priced. Pricing templates for the FPIF tailcone CLINs include target cost, target profit, total target price, ceiling price, and share ratios above and below target, though specific dollar amounts are blank pending contractor proposals. Deliveries are marked "TBD" with FOB Origin for tailcone CLINs and FOB Destination for services. The contracting officer oversees government inspection and acceptance at origin for manufacturing CLINs and at destination for services CLINs. All CDRLs must be completed and approved prior to CLIN acceptance, with specific contractual data requirements including manufacturing plans, project scheduling, monthly status reports, biannual progress reviews, and cost reports where applicable.
