***CONTRACTORS – THIS is a UNION BUILDING***
You are invited to attend a site visit at FEMA Region 1 office located at 99 High Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA. The site visit will begin at 10:00 AM EST on Mon, Mar 6, 2017. There is some minor cubicle modifications that are being requested and we would like to have the work quoted. Please see attached SOW from original design along with the language at the bottom of this email for intended modifications. There is no guarantee that the project will be funded, however it appears likely that it will.
If you are interested, YOU MUST confirm your attendance ahead of time via email to ryan.colgan@fema.dhs.gov by COB Fri, March 3rd. Your company must also be registered in SAM @ www.sam.gov Please let me know if you have any questions.
1. Replace three (3) tall partitions along the long edge of the work surface with shorter partitions (i.e. no higher than 54 inches) to allow more natural light from the windows into the work space; the existing tall partitions block the light.
2. Keep one (1) of the existing overhead locking cabinets and mount it on the tall partition along the short edge of the work surface,
3. Install one (1) partition, at least 54 inches high and 2 feet wide, in between the work surface of the cubicle of interest (Kathryn Emmitt’s), and Anita Uhlan’s work surface - to provide separation and a measure of privacy. A “divider” partition already exists, it’s just too narrow to provide effective separation of space.
