About this file
This document is a Description/Specifications/Statement of Work for a portable medical cube procurement by Headquarters Pacific Air Forces Command Surgeon General's Office. The medical cube is a modular, mobile trauma kit designed to deliver advanced medical care in diverse and challenging environments with rapid deployment capability. The system must provide life-saving treatment within the critical "golden hour" and is intended for military, disaster relief, and remote healthcare operations.
The portable medical cube must meet international quality management standards for medical devices and military-grade specifications for durability, including waterproofing, corrosion resistance, and tamper-proof construction. Core requirements include advanced medical equipment: portable ventilators, multi-parameter monitors, blood warmers, high-rate infusion devices, and ultrasound systems for trauma assessment. The system must feature integrated RFID tracking for inventory management, a power station and generator for uninterrupted remote operation, and a modular design composed of mother cubes and mini cubes measuring 15 x 15 x 15 inches each. The cube must be transportable via air, sea, land, drones, and motor vehicles, support multiple operational stations including surgical capability, and be designed for ease of use by personnel with varying training levels. Delivery and installation requirements mandate prompt delivery to meet mission-critical timelines, inclusion of detailed user manuals and maintenance guides, rapid assembly and disassembly capability (within minutes), installability in confined spaces with flexible configurations, and compatibility with standard power sources or independent operation via provided generator. Ongoing maintenance includes routine inspection and calibration of all medical devices, periodic testing of power systems, inspection of the military-grade casing, and regular RFID system updates.
