About this file
The document is a procurement package for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) involving a one-time purchase of thermoplastic striping equipment. The procurement involves Centerline Supply Inc., a Texas-based corporation, and is being processed through the Arizona Department of Administration State Procurement Office. The procurement is being led by Tom Kornell, a Senior Procurement Officer at ADOT, with oversight from Pamela Veal, the Procurement Manager.
ADOT is purchasing two Graco Walk Behind Pro Melt Thermoplastic machines, two Thermolazer Pro Melt Smartdie 2 Die-12" attachments, and one Line Driver Heavy Duty Model, with a total estimated cost of $56,875.00. The procurement is being conducted as a "Competition Not Practicable" type under Arizona Revised Statutes, with justification based on business continuity and immediate operational needs. The equipment is required for safety markings like crosswalks and stop lines, and is necessary to replace older non-functioning machines. The pricing was determined fair and reasonable through a market comparison with other suppliers, with Centerline Supply Inc. offering the most competitive pricing. The contract is for a one-year term, with an anticipated delivery date of July 1, 2025.
