About this file

This is a solicitation document from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) Procurement division for a competitive sealed proposal to establish a term contract for Traffic Signal, Lighting, Traffic Counting Equipment, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Components. The contract is specifically for ADOT's Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSMO) and Multimodal Planning Division (MPD), with the primary users being the Operational Traffic and Safety Group, Systems Maintenance Group, and Traffic Monitoring Group.

The contract establishes three product categories with specific procurement approaches: Category 1 includes brand-name only fixed-price items for specific manufacturers like Econolite, McCain Traffic, and Wavetronix; Category 2 allows brand name or equivalent products with percentage discounts off catalog pricing; and Category 3 covers brand-not-specified products also with percentage discounts. The estimated annual purchase volume is $1,200,000, based on historical usage data. The contract term is twelve months with potential extensions up to 48 months, and it is exclusively for ADOT's use. Pricing will be based on fixed prices, catalog discounts, and the contractor (AM Signal, LLC) must provide comprehensive product catalogs, maintain sufficient inventory, and offer competitive pricing with manufacturer-authorized discounts.
