About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for preventive maintenance services on two CRxFlex II Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) X-ray systems located at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina, Building 2151. The maintenance is designed to ensure optimal system performance, maximize operational availability, and maintain calibration to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
The contractor must perform comprehensive preventive maintenance tasks across four system categories: mechanical systems (surface cleaning, air filter replacement, roller and bearing inspection/lubrication, component verification and replacement); electrical and electronic systems (connection inspection, power supply verification, system diagnostics, firmware/software updates with government approval); optical systems (optical path cleaning using OEM-approved methods, laser alignment verification); and system performance and calibration (full system calibration, performance verification tests using standardized test patterns, and eraser unit operation verification). All work must be performed by contractor personnel certified by Baker Hughes to service CRxFlex II systems. The contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, and replacement parts, including a "replacement roller spare parts kit," and must complete a service checklist for each unit. Within five business days of completing on-site work, the contractor shall submit a comprehensive service report including completed checklists, descriptions of identified issues and corrective actions, parts replaced list, and recommendations for further repairs or upgrades with cost estimates. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 0700 to 1600 hours, with pre-coordination required for work interfering with normal operations. The contractor shall maintain site cleanliness, properly dispose of waste in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and provide a one-year warranty on all workmanship and replacement parts beginning upon government acceptance of the final service report.
