Crownpoint Health Care Facility COVID-19 Contractor Physician Guidance
Subject to change based on PPE/CDC guidelines
COVID-19 has altered many practices this year, and guidelines have had to remain fluid to adapt to CDC recommendations and guidelines, allowance for ability to replace PPE, patient and staff testing, and employee health regulations.
Current CHCF protocols include immediate check in with employee health and daily temperatures with two (2) temperature readings reported to employee health daily when Contractor Physician first arrives or returns to CHCF.
CHCF has been fortunate in that we have always had enough appropriate PPE to supply for our providers thus far.
CHCF will offer testing for anyone who is symptomatic, or has had significant exposure after 3-5 days.
CHCF will follow CDC protocols on COVID-19 return to work guidance.
In order to maintain minimal amounts of COVID-19 exposure, patients are frequently seen and treated outside in their vehicle. CHCF has been accommodating when this is appropriate. CHCF currently has an outside tent that may be used for codes and or intubations as appropriate.
Please allow for updates and changes as necessary.
