About this file
This is a CPU specifications document for the State of Maine detailing an upgrade project for existing server infrastructure. The State of Maine seeks two units of 1.8GHz processors with four cores and 16GB memory each to upgrade two existing Sun V890 servers from their current configuration of 2 CPUs with 16GB memory to an enhanced configuration of 4 CPUs with 32GB memory per server. The upgrade components specified are 2x 1.8GHz UltraSPARC IV+ processors designed for Sun V890 servers. All components must be Sun-certified parts and will be shipped directly to the State of Maine, directed to the attention of David Johnson (207-557-0914) or Cyrus Arsneault. The State of Maine will perform the installation of these components internally.
No pricing information, contract term, or response deadline is specified in this document. The upgrade represents a hardware enhancement project with defined technical specifications and receiving instructions, but does not contain information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, funding sources, or budget amounts.
