About this file
This document is an amendment to a previous Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) notice regarding COVID-19 protection requirements for state contracts. The amendment notifies agencies that subsequent Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23 have superseded the previous Executive Order 2021-20 and extended the date that certain contractors must become vaccinated. Agencies are required to include the amended COVID-19 protections clause in all solicitations, regardless of procurement method, including those currently published on BidBuy. The clause requires vendors to adhere to the requirements of the Executive Orders, which mandate the use of face coverings, COVID-19 vaccinations, or testing when in certain indoor public places. Agencies may also implement additional vaccination or testing requirements that exceed those in the Executive Orders.
The document does not provide details on any specific contract opportunity, products/services requested, response dates, award information, pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other salient details. It is focused solely on communicating the updated COVID-19 protection requirements for state contracts.
