About this file
This is a Darfur Contracting Certification form required by the State of California's Department of General Services (DGS) under Public Contract Code section 10478. The document requires bidders and proposers to certify their business activities outside the United States within the previous three years and confirm they are not a "scrutinized company" as defined in Public Contract Code section 10476.
The certification provides three options for vendors: (1) certify they have no business activities outside the US within the past three years, (2) acknowledge they are a scrutinized company but have received written DGS permission to bid, or (3) confirm they have international business activities but are not a scrutinized company. For the third option, vendors must sign under penalty of perjury. The form requires the company name, federal ID number, authorized signature, and execution details including date and location.
