About this file

This document is a cover letter with submission instructions for a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons Central Office for NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Training services. The solicitation number is 15BNAS26Q00000074, with a closing date of July 24, 2026 at 5:00 PM EST. The government intends to award a single firm-fixed price contract to one vendor responsible for providing approximately four three-day training classes per year in accordance with the attached Statement of Work.

Offerors must submit quotes electronically via email to gbodine@bop.gov using the completed Document 1449 form, including contractor information, unit prices and amounts, and any required clause/provision fill-ins. All quotes must be written submissions that provide complete standalone responses addressing all evaluation criteria and compliance with the SOW; oral quotes, capability briefings, and external website links will not be accepted. The government will conduct a comparative analysis source selection procedure and may make an award without discussions, making the initial quote submission the offeror's best and final offer. Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted by July 15, 2026 at 1:00 PM EST and will be answered formally via amendment on sam.gov.
