About this file
This document is a Cost Proposal template (Attachment D: Exhibit D, Attachment 1) for a state contract involving travel to nine State Vehicular Recreation Areas (SVRAs). The cost proposal worksheet provides a structured format for contractors to detail labor costs, including staff classifications such as Program Manager, Staff Assistant, Technician, and Clerical personnel. The document anticipates overnight travel and requires contractors to itemize direct labor, indirect costs, overhead rates, fringe benefits, and direct costs including travel expenses.
The travel reimbursement terms specify that contractors must arrange and initially pay for airfare, car rental, hotel, meals, and incidentals, with subsequent reimbursement based on actual expenses and receipts. Mileage and fuel costs will be paid at specified rates, supported by mileage logs or fuel receipts. Contractors are directed to reference current travel expense rates on the California Human Resources (CalHR) website and must submit travel worksheets with each reimbursement request. All travel costs must comply with California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 2, Section 599.619, and are to be included as part of the overall cost proposal.
