About this file

This is a Technology and Architecture Questionnaire document issued by the Information Services Department of the City of Santa Monica, California, for evaluating proposed solutions related to a 24x7 Service Desk contract opportunity. The questionnaire serves as an evaluation framework for assessing vendor proposals across eight primary categories: architecture review, technology review, user experience, integrations, configuration and customizations, user and access management, maintenance and support, and reporting and business analytics. Vendors are required to provide detailed documentation including component and interaction diagrams, conceptual architecture designs, programming language specifications, database configurations, cloud provider information, user personas, front-end technologies, ADA compliance details (WCAG 2.1), data migration strategies, API capabilities, customization procedures, upgrade frequency, identity and access management integration details, support SLAs, training paths, monitoring options, three-year product roadmaps, business continuity and disaster recovery plans, operational reports, KPI creation capabilities, and dashboarding solution integrations.

The questionnaire does not contain specific pricing information, set-asides, incumbent contractor details, funding sources, or contract term specifications. Instead, it functions as a comprehensive technical evaluation checklist designed to ensure proposed solutions meet the City's operational, security, and accessibility requirements. The document was last modified on November 27, 2024, by Prasanna Joshi and is maintained by the Information Services Department located at 1685 Main Street, Room 105, Santa Monica, California 90401. Prospective bidders should reference the City's Enterprise Core Technology Document for additional context regarding the existing technology ecosystem and integration requirements.
