About this file
This document outlines the additional terms and conditions for a Request for Bid (RFB) related to the procurement of shallow draft boats for the Conservation and Natural Resources department of the state of Alabama. The RFB specifies that the award will be made on an "all or none" basis to the lowest responsible bidder meeting all requirements. Bid submission instructions, delivery timeframe, payment terms, and warranty information are detailed. Vendors bidding alternate items must provide descriptive literature for evaluation, and the State reserves the right to physically inspect and operationally evaluate the equipment. The related state and local contract opportunity is for the procurement of fisheries vessels for the Alabama Marine Resources Division.
The RFB requires bid prices to be F.O.B. destination, with any freight charges included. The State of Alabama pays 30 days in arrears after receipt of invoice. All equipment must be new and unused, with a minimum 12-month warranty covering parts, labor, and freight. The contract term is not specified, but the warranty period provides insight into the expected duration.
