The selected contractor must furnish all equipment, labor, materials, and resources necessary for the restoration work. The scope of work comprises 30 line items spanning site preparation, erosion control measures, earthen material removal and disposal, ditch excavation and lining, stone placement, asphalt installation, riprap installation, surveying at multiple project milestones, and revegetation. Quantities include 4,000 linear feet of silt fence, 2,900 linear feet of access road grading, 2,700 cubic yards of earthen material for off-site disposal, 87,120 square feet of erosion control blanket, and 3 acres of revegetation, among other specified items.

Pricing for this project is submitted on a unit price basis, with the Total Base Bid encompassing items 2 through 30 and the Total Bid Price including the mobilization fee (item 1), which is capped at no greater than 10 percent of the Total Base Bid amount. Mobilization costs are subject to a maximum limit to prevent excessive preliminary expenses. All bidders must submit a bid bond for bids of $100,000 or more. Payment will be made based on actual units used and verified in the field, and unit prices shall govern in cases of extension errors. Any bidder entering $0 as a unit price or leaving a unit price blank shall be deemed nonresponsive and disqualified from consideration.

BID SCHEDULE

CONAWAY DRAINAGE II EMERGENCY PROJECT

"The Total Bid Price will be utilized for determining the amount of bid, to establish a contract award value, and to determine the performance and payment bond amounts for the successful Bidder. Each Bidder must submit a bid bond for all bids of $100,000 or more. Payment will be made on actual units used and verified in the field. Correct pricing is extremely important and price should be double checked before submitting a bid. In the case of errors in the extension of prices, the unit price shall govern."

Any bidder who enters $0 as a unit price or leaves the unit price blank shall be considered a nonresponsive bidder.
