About this file

This is an Addendum No. 1 to the Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Computer Equipment issued by Long Beach Utilities Purchasing Department (LBPUD) on June 18, 2026. The addendum addresses clarifications and modifications to the original ITB and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt by signing and returning the document with their quotes. The addendum clarifies that part numbers for items #6, #7, and #8 were not available at the time of the original ITB posting and have not yet been made available, as LBPUD expected these items to be released during the bid process timeline. No specific response date, award date, contract term, or renewal options are detailed in this addendum.

Regarding pricing terms, LBPUD requires bidders to submit pricing that remains firm through the bid evaluation and award process. Any manufacturer price increases occurring after the bid submission deadline of July 16th and prior to award shall be the bidder's responsibility and will not constitute grounds for modifying bid pricing. Bidders are instructed to account for anticipated price fluctuations when preparing their bids. Once a contract is awarded, any future price adjustments will be governed by the terms and conditions of the resulting contract. No set-asides, incumbent information, funding sources, or budget amounts are specified in this addendum.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

ADDENDUM NO. 1

The following changes and/or additions shall be made to the original Invitation to Bid (ITB) for Computer Equipment. Please acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning with your quote.

As of June 18, 2026:

The following are answers to questions submitted:

Question 1: Can you confirm the part #’s for items #6, #7, & #8?

Answer 1: LBPUD expected items 6,7, & 8 to be released during the bid process timeline so part numbers were not available at the time of posting and have not yet been made available.

Question 2: How will you handle/ respond to prices increases by the manufacturers should the price increases happen between July 16th and date of winning bid announcement?

Answer 2: LBPUD expects bidders to submit pricing that will remain firm through the bid evaluation and award process. Any manufacturer price increase occurring after the bid submission deadline and prior to award shall be the responsibility of the bidder and will not be grounds for modifying the bid pricing. Bidders should account for any anticipated price fluctuations when preparing their bids.

Once awarded, any future price adjustments will be governed by the terms and conditions of the resulting contract.

Please take a moment to review these changes when developing your ITB.
