About this file
This document is a Current Environmentally Preferable Products / Practices Form for a state contract opportunity in Massachusetts. The form is a standard evaluation tool included with OSD Requests for Response that will result in a Statewide Contract. It provides bidders the opportunity to receive additional points in the evaluation phase for the environmental initiatives they have instituted, including packaging, remanufactured supplies, end-of-life management programs, EPEAT and Energy Star certification, equipment design, toxics use reduction, and flame retardants. The form also covers the bidder's own business practices and operations to reduce environmental impact, such as the use of green cleaning products, alternative fuel vehicles, and recycling programs. Bidders are required to describe their initiatives and provide supporting documentation to receive the additional evaluation points.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for ITS69 - Managed Print Services, which is a reopening of a previous procurement to add additional vendors. The contract is being conducted by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
