About this file

This document is a job aid for creating a quote in COMMBUYS, a state procurement platform, designed to guide vendors through the online bidding process. The job aid provides a step-by-step screenshot tutorial for logging into the system, accessing open bids, acknowledging bid receipt, and submitting a quote. Key steps include navigating to the Bids tab, reviewing bid details such as purchaser department, contact information, bid dates, and required delivery dates, and then systematically completing quote sections including general information, item details, terms and conditions, and final submission.

The document does not contain specific contract pricing, set-asides, incumbent information, or funding details, as it is a procedural guide for using the COMMBUYS platform. The job aid was last revised on November 6, 2013, and includes guidance on populating quote fields such as delivery days, shipping terms, promised date, discount percentage, and payment terms. Throughout the process, vendors are advised to carefully review each section, resolve any error messages in red, and verify information before submitting their quote through the online system.
