1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and a written solicitation will not be issued.

2. This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ).

3. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through:

Description:

This requirement is for the delivery and installation of a high-density mobile storage system in 1910 Arnold Ave, JB Andrews, Maryland. The system will be used for the storage of Aircrew Flight Equipment. The storage system shall consist of moveable carriages of shelving units on support rails that can be compressed to eliminate the aisles between carriages and maximize the storage capacity of the available space.

Physical Characteristics:

• System must have a full length of 206” and 127” width fully built.

• Must have rolling wheel handles or electronic equivalent to move shelving along the track.

• Must consist of four shelves of the following dimensions: 1. Length 114" X Width 24.5”; Length 114" X Width 48.5";

Length 114" X Width 48.5”; Length 114" X Width 30.25."

• Limit overall height to 128.5” as measured from existing room floor to accommodate required clearance for ceiling mounted sprinkler heads.

• Rails shall be surface mounted to the existing concrete floor.

FAR Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. As prescribed in FAR 12.301(c), the following addendum is provided for this solicitation and hereby amends any language therein:

(a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers:
