About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base for deployment tool kits for the 908th Logistics Readiness Squadron. The solicitation seeks 11 tool kits and 1 custom tool etching, with a delivery requested within 60 days after award. Quotes are due by 16 September 2025 at 12:00 noon CST, to be submitted via email to SSgt Trevor Wilson and Mr. Jaeden Alvarez.

Based on the offeror’s technical quotation, the Government does not have a reasonable expectation that the offeror will successfully perform the required effort in accordance with the Performance of Work Statement.

The Technical Evaluation Team (TET) will evaluate the contractor’s technical quote against the minimum requirements identified below:

a. contractor must provide a quote that adheres to SOR para 2.0-4.0 with regards to CLIN 0001 http://www.sam.gov/ mailto:trevor.wilson.8@us.af.mil, mailto:jaeden.alvarez.2@us.af.mil and CLIN 0002

The contractor must clearly identify any exception to the solicitation terms and conditions and provide complete accompanying rationale for exception. Any exceptions considered detrimental will be considered as failure to meet the requirement.

5. Award: The Government intends to evaluate quotes and award a purchase order without discussions with the responsible contractor. Therefore, the contractor's initial offer should contain their best value terms from a technical and price standpoint. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if later determined by the Contracting Officer to be necessary.

6. Summary: The Technical Evaluation Team (TET) will evaluate the contractor’s technical quote against the minimum requirements identified above. All quotations that did not receive an overall rating of “unacceptable” on their technical solution will be ranked according to the TEP from lowest to highest.
