Water Distribution and Storage Material Supply

Statement of Work

Precast Building Bureau of Reclamation

CANYON FERRY RESERVOIR, MT

1.0 Background

The Bureau of Reclamation’s Missouri Basin Regional Office (MBRO) anticipates the award of a purchase order for the supply and delivery of the following to an area on the Hellgate Campground at Canyon Ferry Reservoir:

A. Pre-cast concrete utility building.

Government forces will construct the project. This Statement of Work is for procurement of materials to build the project. Measurement and Payment sections of these specifications are in reference to this Supply Contract. Specialty Items that include work beyond procurement as part of this Contract are as follows:

A. Pre-Cast Concrete Utility Building: Supplier shall off-load the building and set it in its final location.

2.0 Scope

The Supplier shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, expertise, supervision, and other items and incidental services necessary to supply and deliver the specified materials needed for the construction of the project as shown in the project Plans and Specifications. Supplier is responsible for reviewing and understanding the Plans in order to assure reasonable material supply.

3.0 Objectives

The project will consist of the supply and delivery of the specified materials on site. The Contract includes all buildings and appurtenances to construct the project Plans following the Specifications.

4.0 Reference Standards

Reference Standards are defined in applicable Specifications.

5.0 Tasks

The Supplier shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, expertise, supervision, and other items and incidental services necessary to supply and deliver the specified materials needed for the construction of the project. The following Exhibits are incorporated into this Contract:

A. The Bid Schedule is included in Exhibit A as Section B – Supplies and Prices.

B. The project Plans and Specifications are included in Exhibit B:

6.0 Delivery

The supplier shall furnish everything (equipment, materials, supplies, incidentals, etc.) required to successfully complete the tasks identified in the purchase order.

Supplier of the Utility building shall provide equipment and personnel to pick and set the building in its final place.

Delivery Dates:

Utility Building shall be delivered and set in place within 90 days of Notice to Proceed.

Supplier shall notify Onsite Delivery Contact at least 3 days in advance of delivery.

7.0 Site Conditions

The Government will provide a suitable location for the Supplier to stockpile delivered materials. The Government will provide equipment and personnel to off-load delivered items with the exception of the Utility Building.

8.0 Place of Performance

Work will be performed at the following location:

9.0 Definitions

A. Days: Calendar days.

UTILITY BUILDING

PART 1 GENERAL

1.01 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT

A. Pre-Cast Concrete Utility Building:

1. Measurement: Each Pre-Cast Concrete Utility Building supplied, designed, delivered, and placed at site.

2. Payment: Unit Price offered in the Price Schedule.

1.02 SUBMITTALS

2.01 UTILITY BUILDING

A. Utility Building shall match existing pre-cast concrete utility buildings at the

Campground (see Section 51 13 34 � Photographs).

B. Model Schweitzer II Utility Building manufactured by CXT Concrete Building Model

Schweitzer II Utility Building as manufactured by LB Foster Company, 606 N. Pines

Road, Suite 202, Spokane Valley, WA 99206, lbfoster.com or approved equal having the following salient characteristics:

1. 10.5 ft by 20 ft Utility Building.

2. Wall Texture: Barn Wood

3. 60� wide by 68� high bi-fold door assembly

4. Color: Java Brown.

5. Roof Texture: Cedar Shingles

2.02 PIPE PENETRATION

A. Design and install pipe penetrations in the floor as shown on plans.

B. Design and install wall pipe penetrations for tank overflow piping as shown on plans.

2.03 LOCK CYLINDERS AND KEYING

A. Furnish locks with seven-pin, Best Interchangeable Core, lock cylinders.

1. Furnish lock cylinders with temporary construction core system which can be voided after contract completion.

2. Key locks alike.

B. Government will furnish permanent core system after contract completion.

C. Stamp construction keys with "U.S. Property - Do Not Duplicate" and appropriate key numbers.

D. Furnish three construction keys to CO for Government�s use during construction.

E. Deliver all construction keys to COR at jobsite after completion of work when directed by CO.

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.01 INSTALLATION

A. Install in accordance with manufacturer�s instructions.

DRAWINGS

PART 1 GENERAL

1.01 DISCREPANCIES, ERRORS, OR OMISSIONS

A. Promptly inform the CO of discrepancies discovered on the drawings and specifications.

The CO will make a determination in writing.

B. In case of discrepancies, written specifications take precedence over drawings unless otherwise specified. Anything mentioned in the written specifications and not shown on the drawings, or shown on the drawings and not mentioned in the written specifications, shall be of like effect as if shown or mentioned in both. In case of differences between drawings and written specifications, the written specifications shall govern.

1.02 PROJECT CONDITIONS

A. Where there are differences as determined by the CO between Details and dimensions shown on drawings and Details and dimensions of existing features at jobsite, use Details and dimensions of existing features at jobsite.

1.03 SPECIFICATION DRAWINGS

A. Reference drawings referred to on specification drawings and not considered necessary for contract purposes are not included in specifications.

B. Parts of work for which dimensions are not shown have been drawn to scale as nearly to final dimensions as possible before purchase of machinery or equipment and development of final general and detailed designs.

1.04 STANDARD DRAWINGS

A. Standard drawings may show Details which are not a part of work under this contract.

Disregard Details shown on these drawings which are not applicable to work under this contract.
