About this file

This is a data collection template designed to support the Army's Request for Information (RFI) regarding technologies, products, and services for next-generation combat vehicle crew stations. The template, distributed as part of the OPSEC10785 pre-solicitation (GovTribe ID: 02901f442efd45d6ac8682c9b14ff06b), serves as a standardized format for vendors to submit detailed information about their offerings. The Government is seeking near-production commercial technologies, products, or services—preferably Mil-Spec rated but minimally meeting automotive/industrial quality standards—capable of withstanding combat and tactical vehicle operating conditions. The template facilitates the collection of vendor data to identify qualified companies for potential collaboration through a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA), which would allow selected vendors to showcase their solutions to the Army.

The template appears to be a structured data-gathering tool rather than a solicitation with specific pricing terms, response deadlines, or award dates. It is intended to function as an information collection mechanism during the pre-solicitation phase to assess the market landscape and vendor capabilities before formal solicitation release. Respondents using this template would provide technical specifications, capabilities, manufacturing details, and other relevant information about their products or services to demonstrate compliance with the Government's operational and quality requirements for combat vehicle crew station applications.

Describe how your offering addresses the COAT Capability Area:This product enables the capture and defeat of a fast moving prey by going back in time to when the prey was just a non-ambulatory egg. Requires a chauffeur license if you plan on bringing your prey back alive and a CDL if bringing prey back not-alive.
What advantage sets your capability apart from others:In addition to being effective at catching prey, can also help get you out of trouble when you're late for an important event.
TRL Level:7
Rationale for meeting TRL Level:Tested with low-rate production unit with 3rd Rgmt at Fort Wilderness.
Performance Specs:It is 100% effective at catching prey species that started as an egg. Not as effective against non-bird prey.
Computer Processing Requirements (indicate if you are providing or will be needed to host your s/w):NVIDIA Orin w/ 32GB Memory, 1 TB Storage and 10 Gbps network pipe to camera
Integration Specs (i.e. size, weight, power and data interface):6' x 8' x 4', 300 lbs, requires 1.21 gigawatts
How was performance tested/validated:I tested it on myself and can certity that it is 85% effective as evident by my shorter tail.
Unit Cost (i.e. for one crew station setup):250,000,000
Low Rate Initial Production Volume Cost (i.e. 1000 units):249,999,999
Availability of first unit (i.e. days after purchase):60
Acknowledge commitment to partner with us, at your own cost, to jointly integrate, assess and showcase your capability:Yes. We can provide 6 units for 4 months of assessment.

TRL Def

TRL LvlTitleDescription
1Basic principles observed and reportedLowest level of technology readiness. Scientific research begins to be translated into applied research and development. Examples might include paper studies of a technology's basic properties.
2Technology concept and/or application formulated.Invention begins. Once basic principles are observed, practical applications can be invented. Applications are speculative and there may be no proof or detailed analysis to support the assumptions. Examples are limited to analytic studies.
3Analytical and experimental critical function and/or characteristic proof of concept.Active research and development is initiated. This includes analytical studies and laboratory studies to physically validate analytical predictions of separate elements of the technology. Examples include components that are not yet integrated or representative.
4Component and/or breadboard validation in laboratory environment.Basic technological components are integrated to establish that they will work together. This is relatively "low fidelity" compared to the eventual system. Examples include integration of "ad hoc" hardware in the laboratory.
5Component and/or breadboard validation in relevant environment.Fidelity of breadboard technology increases significantly. The basic technological components are integrated with reasonably realistic supporting elements so it can be tested in a simulated environment. Examples include "high fidelity" laboratory integration of components.
6System/subsystem model or prototype demonstration in a relevant environment.Representative model or prototype system, which is well beyond that of TRL 5, is tested in a relevant environment. Represents a major step up in a technology's demonstrated readiness. Examples include testing a prototype in a high fidelity laboratory environment or in simulated operational environment.
7System prototype demonstration in an operational environment.Prototype near, or at, planned operational system. Represents a major step up from TRL 6, requiring demonstration of an actual system prototype in an operational environment such as an aircraft, vehicle, or space. Examples include testing the prototype in a test bed aircraft.
8Actual system completed and qualified through test and demonstration.Technology has been proven to work in its final form and under expected conditions. In almost all cases, this TRL represents the end of true system development. Examples include developmental test and evaluation of the system in its intended weapon system to determine if it meets design specifications.
9Actual system proven through successful mission operations.Actual application of the technology in its final form and under mission conditions, such as those encountered in operational test and evaluation. Examples include using the system under operational mission conditions.
