About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) document for Credentialing Management Support services. The RFI contains eight questions designed to assess potential contractor capabilities and experience in credential management and identification systems.
The questions focus on several key technical and operational areas: digital identification and mobile ID app development; quantum cryptography solutions for mitigating card chip and reader hardware vulnerabilities; development of physical identification credentials suitable for harsh environments; evaluation and testing of contact and contactless card readers and card technology; development and implementation of mobile IDs with upgraded card design, security features, and biometric authentication for enrollment, vetting, and credentialing systems; stakeholder communication approaches including credential evaluation, testing, lifecycle management, and physical access control system integration with 24-hour support capability; experience with Physical and Logical Access Control Systems (PACS) including card readers and integrators; and testing, evaluation, and configuration of TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) smart card data models and specifications. The RFI does not specify response dates, award dates, pricing terms, set-asides, specific federal agencies, contract vehicles, or other administrative details related to a formal solicitation.
