Cargo Mission Contract

Government Provided Software

Attachment J-10

This page intentionally left blank.

The Government will provide access to the applications show in Table 5-A.

TABLE 5-A Government Owned – Contractor Accessible Applications Application Name Description

Configuration Status Management Operating System (COSMOS)

COSMOS supports configuration management processes for the ISS Program. It is used to document, track and manage ISS Program Change Requests (associated directives, actions, etc.), Program Directives, and Deviations & Waivers.

Consolidated Open Paper System (COPS)

COPS is a web-based open paper reporting system that records and tracks open paper through a single-source. It allows for a standardized, consistent reporting format across the ISS Program. The application is populated with data directly cultivated from existing, authoritative sources which results in minimal impact to day-to-day processes.

Digital Imagery Management Systems

(DIMS)

DIMS is the ISS Program’s repository for still photo and video imagery of NASA hardware and activities recorded during ground and on-orbit operations.

Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)

EDMS is the ISS Program’s repository for official program documentation.

Enhanced Automated Graphical Logistics Environment (EAGLE)

EAGLE is the official ISS Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) Master Database. It integrates all LSAR data for USOS hardware and IP Element ORUs.

Engineering Drawing Control Center (EDCC)

Central repository for Johnson Space Center engineering hardware drawings.

Engineering Drawing Review System (EDRS)

System to review and approve JSC engineering hardware drawings.

Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

FMEA is an application for ISS FMEAs and Critical Items Lists (CILs).

The database serves as the ISS Program tool to update, generate, review, and approve FMEA/CIL worksheets.

Government On-Line Database (GOLD)

The Government On-Line Database (GOLD) is an application which can be used to do tagged property/asset tracking and reporting, inventory management, spares replenishment reporting, calibration tracking and reporting, and maintenance/repairs job orders and reporting.

Hardware History Retrieval System (HHRS)

The Hardware History Retrieval System (HHRS) provides access to historical documents used for fabrication, test and operation of each piece of Space Station flight hardware.

Integrated Risk Management Application (IRMA)

The Integrated Risk Management Application (IRMA) is used by the ISS Program to status and track technical concerns and risks, as well as, cost issues and threats. The application integrates the risk management approach for the Program (key information and rating scale) with information on cost by fiscal year for each risk or concern.

Lessons Learned Database

(LLDB)

This database is the official vehicle for documenting lessons learned in various Johnson Space Center programs.

Maintenance & Analysis Database (MADS)

The MADS application is used by the International Space Station (ISS) Safety & Mission Assurance (S&MA) to monitor reliability and maintainability data for all ISS Orbital Replacement Units (ORUs).

Mission Integration Database for Assembly Sequence (MIDAS)

The Mission Integration Database for Assembly Sequence (MIDAS) is an ORACLE database application used to support Cargo Planning. It provides functionality in support of all aspects of cargo processing including the creation of new ISS Program requirements, development of ISS manifests, processing of manifested cargo, and collection of inventory data for use by on-board ISS systems.

NASA Account Management System (NAMS)

NASA’s centralized system for requesting and maintaining accounts for NASA IT systems and applications. The system is a repository of user account information, access requests, and account maintenance processes for NASA employees, contractors, and remote users such as educators and foreign users.

NASA Equipment Management System (NEMS)

The NASA Equipment Management System (NEMS) is a NASA provided database for tracking government owned equipment that includes location and estimated replacement value.

Problem Analysis Reporting Tool (PART)

PART is the ISS Program’s database tool used to track and monitor hardware or system anomalies.

Vehicle Master Database

(VMDB)

The Vehicle Master Database (VMDB) is the ISS Program’s authoritative source of engineering data containing drawings, documents, relational data and images.

Table 5-B is a list of Government provided software applications maintained by the Cargo Mission Contractor.

TABLE 5-B Government Provided Software Applications

TABLE 5-B Government Provided Software Applications eLabel eLabel is an application where the hardware providers can process multiple request related to requesting the necessary labels for spacecraft hardware.

Launch/Return/On-Orbit Data Set (eLRODS) eLRODS is the mechanism for hardware providers to provide the NASA ISS cargo processing or cargo integration community a standard set of requirements to pack, handle, transport, and stow pressurized HW launched to and returned from ISS.

eLRODS are only required for HW packed by CMC and for all return HW processed by CMC.

Electronic Return Manifest Disposition Plan (eRMDP) eRMDP is the mechanism for hardware providers to provide flight specific data for the RMDP.

eContaiment eContainment is an application that generates a mission Hardware Accountability Matrix Report (HAMR), maintains bag-level summaries and generates mass properties data streamlining the cargo integration planning process.

Table 5-C is a list of Government owned software applications maintained by the current Cargo Mission Contractor, available for transition and use on the CMC3 contract. These software applications are Sequel Server based and Sharepoint based. Note that these software applications, if used for the CMC3 contract, must be sustained by the CMC3 contractor. Note that software licenses are not transferrable.
