About this file

This document contains additional contract clauses and special provisions applicable to the IF&W Door Decals contract opportunity for the State of Maine. The contract extension clause permits the State Purchasing Director to extend the contract period beyond the initial expiration date with contractor consent, with a maximum total contract period not to exceed three years. The document establishes an overrun limit of 3% above the contracted amount.

The contract includes a recycled content preference provision for paper and paper products containing a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material. Bids offering such recycled content products that fall within 10% of the lowest bid meeting all other specifications may receive up to a 10% price preference. Vendors must explicitly indicate in their solicitation response that they are bidding recycled paper products and must disclose the recycled content percentage in the comments section. Additionally, vendor past performance may be considered as a factor in contract award decisions.
