The contract includes an extension clause allowing the State Purchasing Director to extend the contract period beyond the initial expiration date with contractor consent, with a maximum total contract period not to exceed three years.
The contract permits an overrun not to exceed 3% and allows for a recycled content price preference on paper and paper products. Bids offering paper or paper products containing a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled material that fall within 10% of the lowest bid meeting all other specifications may receive up to a 10% price preference, provided the bidder indicates recycled paper is being offered and discloses the recycled content percentage in the comments section of the solicitation response. Additionally, the vendor's past performance may be considered as a factor in contract award.
