About this file

This document is a Market Research Questionnaire issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime on 18 June 2025, seeking potential suppliers for two specific National Stock Numbers (NSNs): a Sprocket Wheel (NSN 3020001411154) and a Hub Body (NSN 3040013962827). The agency is conducting market research to develop a five-year Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) or Long-Term Contract (LTC) for mechanical power transmission equipment manufacturing, targeting both small and large businesses in NAICS code 333613.

Key requirements include potential first article testing for the sprocket wheel, compliance with trade agreements, ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, and phosphate coating certification for the hub body. The market survey requests detailed information from potential vendors about their manufacturing capabilities, business size, inventory, commercial item status, and willingness to provide cost or pricing data. Interested companies are asked to complete the attached questionnaire and return it by 25 June 2025 at 4 PM EST, with technical data package details available through a secure cFolders login. The goal is to generate a realistic and beneficial solicitation that meets both government and contractor needs.
