Bidders must submit line-item pricing on the provided Bid Proposal Sheet with separate line items for excavation and grading, stone base, asphalt milling, I19.0C asphalt, S9.5B or S9.5C asphalt, crack and fog seal, and restriping, along with alternate bid items as applicable. The county will provide electricity, water, and toilets for the project and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive technicalities, and accept a proposal other than the lowest submitted if in the county's best interest. Contractors must verify existing field conditions, dimensions, access, drainage, and quantities prior to bid submission, and any changes from the approved scope require written authorization from the Director of Engineering and Public Utilities, with unauthorized work potentially ineligible for additional compensation. The work must be coordinated in logical phases to allow continued facility use, with all areas to be left clean and safe at the end of each workday and final payment contingent upon completion of all paving, pavement treatments, markings, punchlist items, restoration of disturbed areas, and receipt of required closeout documentation.
