About this file
This document is a Change Order Notice issued by the Chief Procurement Office General Services of the State of Illinois. It provides details on a change order for contract BBREFNO.: 17-416CMS-BOSS4-P-94, titled "JPMC ATTENUATOR, CRASH CUSHION SYSTEMS." The change order extends the current contract, which was set to expire on 8/14/2020, for an additional 6 months. This extension is necessary to allow the State to solicit a new contract, as the previous solicitation was canceled due to a non-responsive bidder.
The document outlines the legal requirements for posting change orders that increase the cost or time of a contract, and confirms that the circumstances necessitating the change were not reasonably foreseeable at the time the original contract was signed. The change order is deemed germane to the original contract.
